About YUSER

Yuser Fatena (b. 1996) is a Turkish-Arab painter examining the collision between the physical world and emotional experience. His work captures the universal tension of trying to hold one’s ground in an environment that refuses to stabilize.

Treating the painting as a three-dimensional object, Yuser works with a rigorous cycle of creation and excavation. Through a continuous process of layering and sanding, he reveals the raw history of the surface (early sketches, monoprints, and underpainting). He merges structural discipline with raw material processes, creating anonymous figures that serve as archetypes of collective endurance.

Life and Education

Graduated with a degree in Architecture from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2020.
He continues to live and work in Istanbul.
